Barista

Part-time

One of our Baristas will soon be off on maternity leave so we’re looking for someone to join our friendly, independent coffee shop for a minimum of 12 months. The candidate must be someone who works well under pressure and is friendly, reliable and approachable. You must be able to work as part of a team with a high level of communication and also manage your own time and tasks. Previous barista experience is desirable, but all the necessary training will be given to the right candidate.

You will be expected to: make coffees to a high standard, serve customers, clear tables, wash dishes, general cleaning and basic food prep.

Village Green Coffee is an award-winning coffee shop serving specialty coffee, expertly-made cakes and a few light lunch options. Providing incredible customer service is number one for us and finding someone to fit into our small team with the right attitude and work ethic, is what we are on the lookout for.

We’re offering a temporary contract for a minimum of 25 hours per week, including weekends (but not every weekend). Being able to provide some holiday and sickness cover will also be expected.
